Types of Warranties - Extended Warranty
Extended Warranty refers to any extension of manufacturer's warranty offered at the point of sale of products. It is also known as service contract/ agreement and the cover only commences on completion of the original warranty. The extended warranty period may range between 12 and 48 months.
